My 2019
Top Moments of 2019
Hi, ya'll! It's officially the end of another year, how crazy is that?? I don't know about you, but for me, this year has been a roller coaster! So many things happening, friends getting married and having babies, new opportunities, sooo much happening. Another year to thank God for everything he has blessed me with, good and bad!
These are just a few things that have made 2019 so special to me.
5.) The Becky Miller Campaign
Talk about being proud, WOW! I have known Becky for as long as I can remember and being able to watch her use her experience to run for an elected position was so awesome! I was so glad to be able to be a part of her journey and watch her step out of her comfort zone. Becky, you are an amazing person and such a role model to me. I am so glad I have you as a sister in Christ!
4.) Meeting Lauren Daigle
For those of you who don't know who Lauren Daigle is, she is a Christian singer/song writer. I have been listening to her for years, which made this experience so much more special to me. Lauren's music has helped me get through some of the darkest times in my life. Her songs seem to just take the words right out of my mouth sometimes. This was such a blessing to me and it was a day I will never forget!
3.) My First NFL Game
Before Alex, I probably would've laughed at the thought of going to an NFL game, but this was such a fun experience! Alex has gotten me into football and developed me into a Patriots fan over the course of our relationship. I bought the tickets as his Christmas present and the look on his face when he saw where we were sitting will forever be etched in my mind. I'm so glad I was able to experience this with him!
2.) First Vacation Together
Alex and I were blessed to be able to take our first big trip together this year! There's nothing better than my toes in the sand and my boy right next to me! We had so much fun the first day that we were too sunburned to even go to the beach on the second day. We went to the zoo on the last day and I got to spend 15 minutes playing and holding baby monkeys! Anybody who knows me well knows that I am a HUGE animal lover, so this was a dream come true. We couldn't have asked for a better trip.
1.) Alex's Baptism
Easily, my #1 moment from 2019 was watching Alex get baptized. To make it even more special, it was the same baptistery I was baptized in 4 years ago. It started out as a simple bible study with some fellow church members, and we ended our night at the Church for a baptism with family and brothers and sisters in Christ! I am so thankful I was able to witness this and watch Alex grow in faith!
I am beyond thankful for everything that this year has brought me, my family, and my friends. I am so excited to see what the new year, and new decade, have in store for me! Happy New Year to all of you and may God bless you in the upcoming year!
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature; old things are passed away; behold, all things become new.
2 Corinthians 5:17
